PROJECT “RESTAURO MADE IN ITALY”“Restauro Madein Italy” is a large project to promote the Italian restoration sector abroad, promoted by the Ministry for Economic Development (MISE) through ICE-Agency and organized by Fiera Ferrara and Assorestauro through initiatives and technical activities to be held in Italy and abroad during 2019/2020.
The project aims to enhance, in terms of greater business and penetration into other markets, the national restoration sector, the companies, the educational institutions and academies that enhance its skills as well as the local institutions that make it up to support it: this in order to make the most of – given the high specialization of the sector matured in Italy and abroad – the unmissable frontiers of opportunities arising from the growing demand in the cultural field that is taking place in all the countries of the world, especially in the most industrially developed ones, which see cultural resources and restoration as a new and growing component of the economy.
RESTORATION WEEK 2019
On the occasion of the “Restoration Exhibition of Restoration, Museums and Cultural Enterprises” the first edition of the “Restoration Week” was organized. This is a rich and intense week in which 50 international experts from 19 countries will have the opportunity to meet, learn about and deepen the techniques and methodologies of Italian restoration through direct visits to the associated work sites of Assorestauro. The idea of the course, which Assorestauro organizes in collaboration with ICE-Agenzia every year since 2007, stems from the desire to create a direct relationship between Italian companies, institutions and foreign experts, to establish new collaborations and export the know-how of our sector in the host countries, promoting the start of international collaborations and projects. In addition, during the “Restoration week” – in addition to B2B meetings, work site visits and workshops – conferences are organized that also involve international restoration experts.
